So… what’s the plan this fall?

Choose from one of the above dog-friendly orchards or pumpkin patches and plan your visit. Check hours, special events, or weekends with live music and extra activities.

Pack for the dogs: leash, water bowl, poop bags, and maybe a towel if things get muddy. Bring a camera! Those golden fall afternoons + a happy dog in a pumpkin patch = photo gold. Explore beyond just apple or pumpkin picking: hayrides, corn mazes, mini-donuts, scenic trails, and a little picnic if allowed. Be courteous: keep your pup leashed, pick up after them, and make sure they’re comfortable around other visitors.

Finally, enjoy! It’s not just about apples or pumpkins, it’s about the season, the smells, the changing light, and making memories with your dog.

A Perfect Fall Day

Fall in Minnesota has a special magic: more sweater-weather, fewer bugs, brilliant leaves, and that crisp you-can-smell-the-apple-cider-in-the-air kind of feeling. Pair that with an outing where everyone in the family gets to join in, and the day becomes more than just picking apples. It becomes an adventure.

Whether you’re chasing Honeycrisps at Aamodt’s, romping through LuceLine with your pup, hunting the perfect pumpkin at Whistling Well, or strolling the orchards at Sweetland, you’re doing fall the right way. Here’s to muddy paws, pumpkin smiles, apple-scented air, and a season full of memories.
